So I've been gently made redundant at the school. Since the head instructor's knocked up, they're bringing in someone who wants to work fulltime and also can teach classes. Looks like I have a month or so of insurance before the new employee is permanently installed. Oh well. I'm contemplating retirement. I am also thinking about volunteering at a local animal shelter but I realize I may be too sensitive for that. Sad animals = sad me, and knowing you can't save them all doesn't stop the heartache of wanting to. So that might be a bad idea. Guess I'll go there and see.
