There is a ginormous crane outside getting ready to load the huge pallets of glass up onto the roof. They're actually parked in the parking lot next door and reaching over; the truck wouldn't fit in the driveway. Let the fun begin. Right now our unit is scheduled for demolition and reconstruction during the week between Christmas and New Year's. Super! I can't see any scheduling problems happening there! I guess it's the best possible situation; as the unemployed Scrooge of the condo I'm the least likely to have big elaborate vacation-type plans for that week. But still, the possibility of them tearing it off and then vanishing for a couple of days is scarily high.
